During the summer term all of the current Year 2 and Year 3 children took part in a writing competition. The children had to write a story using the story prompt of going through a magic door. The winning entries across eight schools were published in a book and we had 48 of our children's amazing stories included in it.
Our very own Daisy was also awarded winning story of the book!
We are very proud of all our children for their hard work and fantastic stories.
Mr Abbs is tweeting about the events during the day - if you are not on twitter here are some of his tweets
Burwell children are up and getting ready for morning briefing at 8am. Breakfast at 8:30am. Room inspection at 9:15am. I wonder which room will be the most organised?
Group 1 & 2 are busy rehearsing their lines in front of the Green Screen and learning their new technical roles in the TV studio.
Meanwhile, groups 3 & 4 are busy orienteering, ATG (Around The Grounds),and playing environmental games before tackling the famous Burwell Challenge!
Super roast dinner, quick game of football or downtime and back on the activities. Your children are great ambassadors for our school.
