The Kingsfield PTA recently reformed in the Spring of 2017 and has already started raising money to support the school.
Our aims are:
To hold exciting events for all children and their families to participate in together.
Provide our school with additional resources to enhance learning and the children’s school experience.
We are a friendly and enthusiastic bunch who meet at school regularly to discuss future events. We usually hold meetings straight after school (with a crèche provided). We try to vary the days of the meetings and share the dates on the School’s weekly newsletter. Please feel free to come and join us. If you are unable to attend but wish to offer support at events or ideas etc. – please contact us either directly at school or using our email : email@example.com
We have already held successful events and would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your ongoing support.

Our first event was a Sports day raffle. We asked various shops, friends, parents and families for raffle donations and sold tickets while parents were watching their children during Sports day. We managed to raise an amazing £364 for our first event!
In July we had Ice Pop Friday. On two Fridays we sold ice pops from the playgrounds at home time on both KS1 playground and KS2 playground. This was a huge hit with the children and we had good feedback from parents. We raised £106.
Our first event of this school year was a Halloween Disco for KS1 and KS2. We sold 286 tickets and children were given the choice if they wanted to come in Halloween fancy dress or their party disco clothes. We all had a fab time! The discos raised £328.
We also did a Penny Trail. Each class had an empty sweetie jar for collecting loose change. Our intital target was around £50 when we came up with the idea. However we had smashed this target during the first week without even knowing it. The children loved seeing their jar amounts grow and it certainly was a hot topic around the whole school. We raised a staggering £613, a massive THANK YOU to all families for the amazing support we have received.
Our next event is the school Christmas Fayre. Plans are in full swing and we can’t wait for you to join us for a fun festive afternoon on Thursday 30th November 3:15pm start.
