It seems like a long time ago that the children were signing up to take part in the Year 6 Residential trip to Grafham Water and now it's almost upon us; just two more sleeps! Lots of frantic packing and excitement in 37 households this weekend no doubt. Hope you all enjoy your weekend and see you all at Furrowfields Carpark on Monday morning, 09:45 - Don't be late!!

Sorry that mathletics homework has not been set yet. There is a technical fault which is being looked into. Hopefully it will be up-and-running again very soon. Hopefully the children can still access Mathletics and carry out some independent work of their own until the glitch is fixed.

Hello and welcome to the first Year 6 homework page. As we mentioned at the recent "Meet the Teacher" evening, Year 6 homework will be sent out each Friday and it is expected to be returned on the following Tuesday. Each week there will be pages set from the three homework study books ( Reading, Maths and Grammar/Punctuation). In addition there will be a mathletics task set for all pupils. This will need to be completed during the week and before the following Thursday.

Year 6 were pleased to host children's author Guy Bass into school today. His animated presentation had the children and staff in fits of giggles. He really engaged and inspired the children with tales of his childhood.

"It was the best experience," said Mason
